Erwin Wegleiter founds the company Audioelectronic in Lana. From the very beginning, the company focuses on church sound systems and audio technology: development, planning, installation, maintenance, and rental of speaker systems.

Audioelectronic takes over the general representation of the company Straesser for the Italian distribution area – a decisive step in its technical and professional development.

Over many years, Audioelectronic designs and installs complex sound systems – partly independently, partly on behalf of Strässer.
During this period, the company builds:

- comprehensive electroacoustic expertise
- long-standing practical experience
- innovative solutions for demanding applications

Through the development of wireless, mobile speaker systems and weather-resistant stainless steel speakers for cemeteries, listed buildings, gardens, and parks, Audioelectronic has established itself as a specialist in audio technology and church sound systems in South Tyrol.

The Audioelectronic division and its employees will be integrated into Obrist GmbH. With locations in Feldthurns and Eppan, Obrist brings additional expertise in the field of high-performance technical systems.
